The 1st ILO MLC, 2006 Training Course in Italy

It was concluded in Genova with the consignment of the certificate issued with a double logo “Italian Coast Guard Headquarters” –Nucleo Didattico Formativo – GENOA and Bureau Veritas” the course for the Application of the Convention for Maritime Labour 2006 (MLC, 2006) held within the Didactic Formation Unit “C.A. A. DE RUBERTIS” from the 13th May 2010 until 15th May 2010 with a final exam on 16th May 2010.

After the success of the 2009 Training Calendar, as part of the BV Training Solutions program, the 2010 Training Calendar has been recently published. It includes 27 titles and 110 training sessions to be held in France, Greece, Spain, Netherlands, Croatia and Singapore. The training courses proposed cover the technical aspects of shipping, international regulations and management tools.

Shipyard supplies model for VeriSTAR-HLC service

The 3D model of M/S Bahía Uno was successfully exported to BV in May 2009, starting from the initial shipyard CAD model made with FORAN software from SENER. The received 3D model was used by the VeriSTAR HLC software without any modification.

e-learning for ISM internal auditors

Bureau Veritas Spain has delivered in February 2009 its first semi-presential ISM internal auditors training course where 14 trainees from the leading Spanish shipping companies have experienced the benefits and comfort of e-learning with three full days of intense presential sessions conducted by a BV senior ISM lead auditor who shared his expertise with the trainees.
